I just think the D-Day is Tuesday. We have to have a positive campaign after Tuesday. Whoever has the most delegates after Tuesday, a clear lead, should be in my judgment the nominee," Richardson said on "Face the Nation" on CBS.

With the races so tight in Ohio and Texas, it's all but assured that Obama will leave next Tuesday with a lead in pledged and total delegates.  Clinton needs to win both states with about 70% of the vote, a number that was pretty inconceivable even without Obama's recent surge.

Richardson may or may not endorse Obama based on his delegate lead after Tuesday.  But, what's more important here is that we have a party leader who wants Texas and Ohio to be the sudden death of the primary season.
